Athos-Vatopedi Monastery

On the Holy Peninsula of Athos, PowerCem Technologies had been requested to make the access road near the Vatopedi Monastery. The Vatopedi Monastery is one of the many Greek Orthodox monasteries on the Peninsula near the Holy Mountain of Athos. The road network connects the ferry platforms and the monasteries with each other. The monasteries on the peninsula are not connected via a road with the mainland. Transport has to go always partly via the ferries, what limits the amount of transportation volumes.
